This isn't aimed at anyone either, this is more like a general frustration at how this has happened multiple times...
Commissions are bought with enthusiasm and excitement, especially by furries. So honestly when you make someone wait 8+ months for a quick-turnaround illustration, that energy gets kind of exhausted.
That energy doesn't disappear if you set expectations appropriately though.
Anyways, sorry for the rant. I think it's just bleh.

Why is it that I'm commissioning artists for💲💲💲artworks, and then being completely ghosted for around 8 months - more than a year. It's honestly dumb how many times I've had to sit and wait for a piece for ages when I was told it would have a quick turnaround time. My non-confrontational brain doesn't help here either. It's honestly fine if it gets delayed for a couple of months, if they update me...
but like...
8+ months of delay... and almost no words? Sigh. Too common 😞
